We came in after dark on Amtrak, so this was a few streets over from the station and a nice place to sleep overnight before heading up to Pismo Beach on the walking path near the beach. The room was great for the price. It seems like it was recently updated so no complaints from me. I booked it a few days before and everything worked out.

This property is under new ownership and they're doing an excellent job updating the rooms. We loved everything. On the outside, it doesn't look great, but the rooms are actually quite esome huge shower. We were extra pleased to find a microwave and mini fridge also. Added bonus, the owner was fantastic, welcoming and friendly.

What a pleasant surprise! The hotel may not look like much on the outside, but the rooms are great. They have been updated with laminate flooring, bathroom has a very nice shower, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great, just 5 min drive or 20 min walk to Grover Beach. The staff is wonderful!
